How COVID-19 Is Affecting Construction & Home Renovation Businesses 



It’s been 12 days since the World Health Organization (WHO) announce officially the coronavirus outbreak a widespread in Canada as of  March 30, 2020, there have been 225,705 tested cases in Canada, 479 recoveries, 89 deaths, and over 7,424 Confirmed cases due to the Corona Virus.
The situation is really starting to worse as we’re seeing more states, counties, and cities affected day by day or face inessential businesses issue some sort of “stay at home” or “Say Namastey”

For the most part, construction the activity has been included as an essential activity that can continue with business as usual during these orders. PBN Construction advice to Workers should try and maintain a 2-meter separation from others as much as possible and follow the government guidelines for protecting themselves from being affected to the coronavirus.

 

Construction & Renovation Work 

We are still seeing a number of new construction work opportunities (public and private) coming in, both in the U.S. and Canada. For the Canada new public opportunities during the week of March 16 was down -3.62% and new private project was down -8.62% compared to the same time last year.
